Jane Chisholm

Vice Chair

Jane brings experience in counselling, supervision and management to the Board. Her background lies in nursing and midwifery, working overseas with VSO and the International Red Cross, before embarking on a counselling career which led latterly to the role of Head of Counselling for Couple Counselling Scotland. Jane ran her own private counselling practice for 25 years.

Jane served on the Board of Governors of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) for 5 years. She has served on the Cruse Board since 2013.

After early semi-retirement, she enrolled at Art College in Dundee and graduated with a Masters Degree in 2008. She is a keen musician, playing mainly Early Music on period instruments, viola and Baroque cello.
