Register your interest to hear as soon as applications open to join our team of volunteer supporters for bereaved Children and Young People.
Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children who are finding it hard to process and adapt after the death of someone close?
If so, you might just be the kind of awesome person we hope will join our team. Our incredible volunteers provide vital support - and hope - to bereaved children and young people and help us reach every family who needs us.
Did you know that you don't need to be a qualified counsellor to apply for this role? We provide full training and the course is open to those who have experience of working with children and young people, and/or have an interest in furthering skills in working with them.
The next volunteer recruitment window for our role working with bereaved Children and Young People will open Spring 2025, and we invite you to register your interest now, to hear as soon as applications are open.
Please note this course is not accredited by an external body.
The overall aim of this training is to provide volunteers with a supportive context in which they can develop those theoretical, conceptual, and practical skills and insights, which will enable them to become highly competent supporters of bereaved children and young people and their families/carers.
