It is the club that no one wants to be a member of, yet sadly Tommy’s estimates that a quarter of expectant parents experience the heartbreak of miscarriage or baby loss. Whilst it is still not talked about enough, we have come a long way in opening up about this hard and emotive subject and whatever your story, you can find connection, hope and solace through a raft of books, blogs and online communities.
This blog post will be an ongoing project for us at Cruse Scotland – we’ll add to it when anything new pops into our consciousness. But for now, it’s a collection of resources that we have used ourselves or have recommended to clients.
If you are struggling with your grief over miscarriage or baby loss, please call our free helpline: 0808 802 6161 or begin a webchat on this site. We are here to offer support, advice and an understanding ear. Please do not feel alone.
If you would like to recommend any other resources (books, podcasts, blogs, newsletters, Instagram accounts etc.) – ideally based in the UK – please email social@crusescotland.org.uk or send us a message on Instagram @crusescotland.
