Support is available locally and nationally, in many different ways - here are just a number of organisations that you, or someone you know, can reach out to for additional help.

You are not alone.
If you are feeling suicidal, or have concerns about a friend or loved one, the organisations and charities we have listed below can help with support for mental health and well-being.
We have listed just a few national organisations as well as some that operate locally in your region, however there are many more great support networks out there too that are there to help when you need it most.
Andy’s Man Club
“We are talking groups for men because… You’ve either been through a storm, are currently going through a storm or have a storm brewing in your life. We now have 28 groups, and still growing, across the UK. we also have a national online group for those outside of our catchment areas.”
An award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide. It offers support to men in the UK of any age who are down or in crisis through its helpline, webchat and website.
HOPELineUK is a confidential support and advice service for people under 35 who may be thinking of suicide and anyone worried that a young person may be thinking of suicide.

suicide and they operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Change Mental Health
Change Mental Health (Dumfries and Galloway) - Advice and Support Service is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, where advisers can signpost you to local support that most fits your needs. They offer initial advice on money worries and help to deal with emergencies.
East Dunbartonshire Association for Mental Health (EDAMH)
East Dunbartonshire Association for Mental Health (EDAMH) is a local voluntary sector organisation and charity which provides community based support services throughout East Dunbartonshire.
Lanarkshire Association for Mental health
Lanarkshire Association for Mental health is a Mental Health charity based in Lanarkshire and West Lothian. We deliver a wide range of services throughout the community.
Mind Over Matter
Ayrshire - Mind Over Matter is available to anyone affected by poor mental health. As well as an open door and welcoming cuppa, the group also regularly co-ordinates with local businesses to explore new ways to support your mental health - from exercise, complementary therapies and even the odd cuddle from a furry friend!
