Christine McLintock

Chairperson

Christine is a former lawyer who worked in commercial law firms McGrigors and Pinsent Masons for 27 years. She was one of the first partners in the UK to be dedicated to Risk & Knowledge Management. She was a member of the McGrigors Board from 2007 to 2012 and chaired it for several years and served as General Counsel to Pinsent Masons.

Christine has had extensive involvement with the Law Society of Scotland, including being a past President and former Convenor of the Education & Training Committee, Chair of the Society’s Public Policy Committee and member of the Law Society Board.

Christine is the Chair of the Lawscot Foundation, a charity which supports students from less advantaged backgrounds to study law (both the LLB and the postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice) at an accredited University in Scotland. She is also currently Chair of the Scottish Council of Law Reporting.

Christine lives in Edinburgh and has been involved with Cruse Scotland as a volunteer and Board member for seven years.
