George is Director of Operations for one of Scotland’s leading mental health charities, Change Mental Health. Having started his career in the Third Sector ten years ago, George has worked across mental health, heritage, policing, and STEM engagement with his current responsibilities spanning Human Resources, IT and Facilities, Building, Policies, and Business Development.
George is passionate about bereavement support having navigated his own journey with the sudden loss of his mum and brother and is a strong advocate for the work and services of Cruse Scotland.
George is a keen and active volunteer outwith his Board responsibilities; serving as a Special Constable for six years and volunteering as a Befriender with Befriend A Child in Aberdeen. He lives in Edinburgh with his pet pooch Bailey and in his spare time can be found wandering around a National Trust property or taking a dip as a keen open water swimmer.
