Matthew transitioned to counselling after years in leadership development, recognising that achieving our goals depends on how we feel about ourselves.
His training and experience have introduced him to a range of theoretical approaches, including person-centred, psychodynamic, transactional analysis and existential therapy.
Matthew chairs Cruse Scotland's Practice, Governance & Training Committee. He currently works in private practice as a supervisor.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, he had been an independent facilitator and coach for over 30 years, working with individuals and teams in a major commercial, public and non-profit organisations.
