Pamela joined Cruse Scotland in April 2023, initially as a staff member taking up the role of Director of Finance, then stepping down and being elected as a Trustee in May 2024. Pamela brings her knowledge and experience to chair the Finance and Audit Committee, overseeing all financial matters in line with both legal responsibility and good practice.
Pamela is passionate about supporting Cruse Scotland, having had firsthand experience of the dedication and commitment of both the staff and the wonderful group of volunteers, and the positive impact made to bereaved people in Scotland.
Pamela is a qualified accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland. Pamela has extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector, being Head of Finance for the Chartered Banker Institute for over twenty years.
Pamela loves spending time with her family, which invariably involves her Bedlington terrier too. Pamela is a keen painter and along with her own work, she gets much satisfaction supporting her dad and the local dementia hub at their weekly art group. She lives in Bo’ness and loves to travel, often incorporating live music in the itineraries.
