However, it appears, grief can affect how people think, feel, and function at work. This course helps learners better understand grief and develop compassionate, confident responses when supporting others in a professional environment.

Navigating Grief in the Workplace is made up of 4 interactive modules and takes approximately 45–60 minutes to complete. The course includes real-life stories, reflective activities, and practical tools to support learning and application in workplace and everyday settings.

The modules explore:

  • What grief is and the many forms it can take
  • How grief may present in workplace behaviour, communication, and performance
  • How to respond with empathy, clarity, and confidence when supporting a grieving colleague
  • Practical ways to strengthen wellbeing and compassionate workplace culture
  • Reflection on personal experiences of loss and how these influence how we support others.
