Do you enjoy the outdoors? We are seeking volunteers to join our walking groups for bereaved adults in Dundee and Angus.
Our Walk and Talk groups for bereaved adults in Dundee & Angus offer a welcoming way to meet others who understand the impact of loss, while enjoying gentle outdoor exercise and fresh air.
Each friendly group walk lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours and is paced to suit the abilities of those taking part.
As a volunteer, you’ll support the Walk Leader to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for everyone attending.
No previous experience is needed, but a basic level of fitness is helpful. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to complete Paths for All Walk Leader training.
We’re looking for people who are friendly, compassionate and generally active. It would be especially helpful if you have:
By volunteering, you’ll be helping bereaved people connect with others who share similar experiences, reducing feelings of isolation and offering a gentle route back into social connection and the outdoors.
