Creating a Bereavement-Friendly Workplace: A Guide for Managers

This training module is split into two sessions and is tailored to give managers the skills to nurture a positive bereavement experience in the workplace.

Creating a Bereavement-Friendly Workplace: A Guide for Managers – course content: 

Session 1:

  • Introduction to bereavement
  • How to create a bereavement-friendly workplace
  • How to develop a bereavement-friendly workforce.

Session 2:

  • Employers’ legal duties and responsibilities
  • Managing bereavement at work
  • Having compassionate conversations around death and dying.

This course can be delivered through video conferencing for up to 12 participants per session, or in-person.

All courses are delivered by one of our Training Team, who are professional trainers specialising in mental health, bereavement and trauma.

Duration:

2 x 2.5 hours, or one full day in-person.

Cost:

£1,000 for up to 12 attendees.
